[ How to run JSX scripts ]
Method 1: Click the Photoshop menu File -> Scripts -> Browse..., then select the .jsx script.
Method 2: Drag and drop the script file directly into the menu bar area (do not drop it onto the canvas).

[ How to Set Up Keyboard Shortcuts ]
The setup steps are as follows (required only once to take permanent effect):
Step 1: Copy the script file
Copy the .jsx file to the Photoshop scripts directory.
The default path is usually (replace "202x" with your actual Photoshop version):
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 202x\Presets\Scripts\
After copying the file, restart Photoshop.
Step 2: Assign keyboard shortcuts
Open Photoshop, and click Edit -> Keyboard Shortcuts... in the top menu (or press Alt + Shift + Ctrl + K on Windows / Option + Shift + Command + K on Mac).
In the window, select Application Menus for the "Shortcuts For" option.
Scroll down and expand File -> Scripts.
Locate and click on your script in the list.
In the input box next to it, press your desired shortcut key combination (e.g., F5 or Ctrl + Shift + Q), click Accept, and then click OK.
Open Photoshop, and click Window -> Actions in the top menu (or press Alt + F9 / Option + F9) to open the Actions panel.
Click the Create New Action icon at the bottom of the Actions panel. In the pop-up dialog, name your action, select a key from the Function Key dropdown menu (e.g., F5, with optional Shift/Control modifiers), and click Record.
Go to the top menu and select File -> Scripts -> [Your Script].
Click the square Stop playing/recording icon at the bottom of the Actions panel.
Setup complete. You can now press the assigned key (e.g., F5) to run your script.
